Ceyenne WMS 2026.2
Retyping batch numbers by hand when packing takes time. And one wrong combination of digits stays in for the rest of the tracking trail. Version 2026.2 takes that manual work off the floor. You scan the GS1 barcode and the batch number is automatically attached to the order.
Automatically link batch numbers when packing
While packing, scan the GS1 label with the batch number and Ceyenne WMS recognizes the information immediately. The batch number is automatically linked to the correct order line, without extra manual actions. Manual entry is no longer needed, not even in later logistics steps.
What does this mean for you?
- One scan instead of retyping: the batch number is automatically added to the order line
- Fewer input errors in your tracking and inventory records
- You meet traceability requirements without extra actions on the floor
Three screens become one
For transactions there were three separate detail pages, as there were for relations. Both are now one central page that shows the relevant information and tabs per type. In addition, status names of shipments now read as real text instead of codes such as 'ReadyForPacking'. Filter values are translated correctly everywhere and you activate filters by pressing Enter.
What does this mean for you?
- One detail page for all transaction types and one for all relation types
- Status names that are immediately readable, in the overview and in the search filters
- Faster searching and filtering in the overviews
More reliable data, managed more tightly
Data such as the minimum shelf life date, the promised delivery date and the ordered quantity are now read directly from the order. Incorrect manual placements on product locations can be updated or removed by yourself, after which the change is processed automatically. And settings such as the last used warehouse location are kept per application, so the scanner app and the web application no longer get in each other's way.
What does this mean for you?
- Consistent order data, without intermediate steps that can deviate
- Make corrections to location occupancy yourself
- Settings per application, without accidental overwriting
Cipherlab scanners supported too
The scanner app has been made compatible with Cipherlab scanners. Equipment you already have can now be deployed directly for scanning work in the warehouse.
And further in this release
-
Delivery instructions on the shipping label
Delivery instructions appear directly on the Sendcloud label for carriers that support notes, with a limit of 255 characters.
-
Returning to backorder without time-outs
Even with large transaction tables the action keeps running and you receive a notification as soon as the process is finished.
-
Configurable limits for the EbaFit packer
The limits at which the EbaFit packer is skipped are now configurable, so that large and small orders each run smoothly.
-
Renewed branding
Logos and branding have been updated throughout the application.
Fixed issues
This release contains thirteen fixes. The most important:
- Generating pick orders no longer stops with an error message and orders no longer get stuck on the status 'Orphaned'. Pick jobs with different pick methods are no longer merged.
- The packing slip shows the shipping method with which the order was actually sent.
- Searching by location code shows all locations with that code in the selected warehouses.
- Rapid consecutive scans in pick-to-cart are no longer processed twice.
- Manual stock movements to a bulk location no longer get stuck on the 'Scan station' step.
- Creating and editing inbound orders and shipments is possible again.
- Editing products from the 'Incomplete receipts' panel no longer gives an error message.
- Put-away orders are created again for products located in multiple zones.
- The RMA generator no longer stops periodically.
